In 1989 the published their <strong>sub-pop<\/strong>-debut and found themselves next to Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney as the only non-grunge-band. Ironically, <strong>The Walkbouts&#8217;<\/strong> sound stayed alive over the grunge hype of the &#8217;90s and became one of the most important and consistent music genres of the following decades. The Walkabouts and Sub Pop seperated in 1992, yet the Band joined forces with <strong>Sub Pop Europe<\/strong>, represented by Glitterhouse Records in Beverungen, Germany.
