Story
Donata moves in the sweet spot between sophisticated indie and catchy pop. Behind the project is Berlin-based artist Donata Kramarz, who, after studying singing in Amsterdam and working on her first projects in the Netherlands, was part of the award-winning indie pop duo Nosoyo from 2017 (VIA VUT Award, Listen to Berlin Award).
She has been a solo artist since 2023: her debut album Imaginary Land (2023) was followed by Alchemy in 2024, with which she positioned herself at the intersection of indie folk, alternative and modern pop. Her music combines intimate, English-language lyrics with powerful arrangements and a clear emotional signature.
Donata’s songs revolve around themes such as demarcation, healing and transformation and unfold their full effect especially live – carried by an intense stage presence and a palpable closeness to the audience.
2026 marks the beginning of their collaboration with Glitterhouse Records.
