Story
Primitive Energetics‚ ist das neue Album von Joe Volk + Naiare, welches am 24. April 2020 in Zusammenarbeit mit Glitterhouse Records erschienen ist. Nach der Tour zu seinem letzten Album ‚Happenings and Killings‘ (2016), auf der Thys Bucher (Drums) und Jürg Schmidhauser (Bass), Joe Volk als Liveband begleiteten, begannen die drei Ausnahmemusiker umgehend damit, neue Songs zu komponieren. Unterstützt wurden sie dabei von dem Psychedelic Noise Gitarristen Thomas Fahrni.
Neben den Songs die Joe Volk mit seiner Band Naiare schrieb, befinden sich auf ‚Primitive Energetics‚ auch Tracks, die durch akustische und elektronische Elemente sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern wie Jim Barr (Portishead), Urs Heer (Noijzu), Mark Ophidian (US), Mario Batkovic (Invada), Thomas Martin Nutt (Japan), Charles Wagner (Young Blood Brass Band), Julian Sartorius (CH), Matt Williams (BEAK>), Thomas Schmidiger (CH) und Ben Salisbury (UK) beeinflusst sind.
