What did our first band info say again? „The moment when the mime gets tripped up and lands with his face in the clown’s cake before he can even throw it, that is TRIXSI.“
Something like that, anyway. That’s actually true, except for the thing with the mime. TRIXSI are too loud for that. And the thing with the clown fits honestly also only to this Mechenbier, this front clown, this roaring stage brute.
Hamburg’s TRIXSI are hard to put into words, but otherwise easy to grasp. What happens here is no more and no less than just normal magic, the kind you can stir up with a handful of friends in a pot called a “band”. Here, a little inventiveness and a lot of eye for what has already been accomplished and made sense is condensed with a high degree of creativity. Here, tyres are punctured instead of trying to reinvent wheels. No one is afraid or stressed here. But the desire is all the greater. Joy oozes from every pore and drips to the floor while the band members shake their heads in sync: About the state of this world, human interaction in general and the music industry in particular.
