Story
Andrea Schroeder is an exceptional phenomenon among German singers. A song poet whose voice is just as captivating as her lyrical, often melancholy lyrics. With Where The Wild Oceans End the Berlin-based artist presented her second album in 2014, which – just like her debut album Blackbird (2013) – The arts section and music critics alike have been rapturous about the work: “A mix of folk and chanson, blues, rock and art song combine to create a sensational debut” wrote the Musikexpress, Radio Eins called it “a dark album in a class of its own”. After sold-out concerts with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, among others, and acclaimed festival appearances Void 2016 the third album of the Berlin artist, which is also the first of the artist on Glitterhouse Records.
